Bus trip to Montenegro
The border of Montengro is located less then one hour's drive from Dubrovnik. After crossing the border we will drive around the spectacular Bay of Kotor which is deeply carved in to the Montenegrin mountains offering unforgettable scenery. We will pass along charming settlements such as Risan and Perast before arriving to Kotor where we will make a stop to admire the old town and the Medieval fortifications(around 11h00). Our trip takes us further up the mountains on the old road towards Cetinje , once the seat of the Montenegrin rulers. There will be a stop halfway in the small village of Njegusi where you will have the chance to taste some of the famous local specialties. In Cetinje (around 12h30) there will be a visit to the State Museum, formerly the Palace of the Montenegrin King Nikola. The drive continues on the new road down to the town of Budva (15h00) where we will make our last stop before continuing back to Dubrovnik. The drive back will be pleasantly shortened by a ferry ride across the bay.
